Judean Hills, Israel
Arza Charisma Merlot-Cabernet is a dry red blend of 60% Merlot and 40% Cabernet Sauvignon from grapes grown in the sunny Judean Hills of Israel. It is Mevushal and kosher for Passover. Arza Winery was established in 1847 in the Old City of Jerusalem. Today the winery is headed by Motty Shor, a 7th-generation descendant of the founder. Together with winemaker Philippe Lichtenstein, they offer a combination of family tradition and professional winemaking.
Arza Charisma Merlot-Cabernet comes from a cool climate and rocky soil. The wine has a beautiful purple color and medium-full body. It offers pleasant aromas and flavors of cherries and raspberries and a smooth, velvety palate. The wine was aged in stainless steel with no oak. It is nicely balanced and finishes with length and polish.
Enjoy Arza Charisma Merlot-Cabernet over the next 3-4 years with beef brisket, grilled chicken, pasta and aged cheeses.
