Ribera del Duero, Spain
Emilio Moro Ribera del Duero is a gorgeous red of Tempranillo from the Moro family, making wine in the Ribera del Duero region of Spain for over 120 years. Wine Spectator selected the 2006 vintage among its Top 100 Wines of 2009. We just think itís a great red wine gem! Only 1000 cases imported.
Emilio Moro Ribera del Duero is dark ruby in color with a beautiful bouquet of blackberry, cherry, anise and earth. Full in body with silky tannins, the palate offers cherries, blackberries, figs and spice. Aged for 12 months in French and American oak, it is well balanced to enjoy now and over the next 12-15 years. It lingers impressively on the finish.
Enjoy Emilio Moro Ribera del Duero with roast pork, lamb, grilled steak, paella, and aged cheeses.
