2012 Hecht & Bannier Rosé
Please call or e-mail.
The new 2012 vintage of Hecht & Bannier Rosé has arrived! Don’t delay, because the 2010 vintage received a rating of 91 points from David Schildknecht for Parker’s Wine Advocate and sold out quickly!
Formed in 2002, Maison Hecht et Bannier produces wines that are reference points for the Languedoc-Roussillon, France’s largest and most confounding winemaking region. Founders Gregory Hecht and François Bannier: “To conserve the typical Mediterranean strength in our wines while preserving balance and crispness, this is our mantra for all the appellations we produce.” Hecht & Bannier is at the forefront of a revolution in quality in this region. Each of their wines is typically based on 5-10 different parcels found to be of exceptional quality.
Hecht & Bannier Languedoc Rosé is a blend of Syrah, Cinsault and Grenache sourced from vineyards with soils rich in limestone and clay that border the Etang of Thau, and from schist-rich vineyards from the area around Saint Chinian. Medium in body, it is a crisp and dry expression of ripe raspberries, cherries, strawberries and pomegranate. Clean and refreshing on the finish.
Hecht & Bannier Rosé pairs well with just about anything! Enjoy with summer salads, fried chicken, turkey burgers and mild cheeses.
