2013 Holden Manz Vernissage
Franschhoek, South Africa
Holden Manz Vernissage is a big red blend from the Franschhoek wine region of South Africa. Holden Manz wine estate is located above the Franschhoek valley overlooked by magnificent mountains which stand guard over the beautiful valley below. Situated between the Franschhoek and Stony Brook rivers, this 22-hectare wine estate, with its fertile and dark loam soils, produces superb wines in a state-of-the-art cellar.
Holden Manz Vernissage is a rich blend of 38% Cabernet Sauvignon, 35% Shiraz and 27% Merlot. It offers aromas and flavors of berries, black fruit, spice and dark cherries, with soft, chewy tannins and a lingering finish. It was aged for 10 months in 3rd-fill French oak barrels.
Enjoy Holden Manz Vernissage with steak, lamb stew, roasted duck breast and aged cheeses.
