Lodi, California
Michael David Seven Deadly Zins Old Vine Zinfandel comes from old vines planted in the loamy soils of Lodi. Robert Parker rated this 2013 vintage of Seven Deadly Zins 90 points: “A softer, more lush and voluptuous texture can be found in the 2013 7 Deadly Zins, which is also 100% Zinfandel from Lodi. The production here is 280,000 cases! To produce such a high-volume wine of this quality is pretty remarkable winemaking. Loads of ripeness, fruit, glycerin and medium to full-bodied silky mouthfeel make for a delicious effort. A candidate for the best value winery in the United States, the Michael & David Winery is incredibly proficient at turning out full-flavored wines at bargain basement prices. Shrewd consumers take note.”
Enjoy Michael David Seven Deadly Zins Old Vine Zinfandel as the perfect holiday turkey red and with BBQ pork ribs, steak, spicy Asian fare and sharp cheeses.
