Monde Eau Cabernet Sauvignon is a tasty certified organic Columbia Valley Cab serving an admirable cause: to help provide clean water for the world. Monde Eau Wines was established to support humanitarian efforts that supply safe drinking water across the developing world. Monde Eau will donate a substantial portion of profits from the sale of its wines to New York City-based Charity: Water, a non-profit organization devoted to bringing clean drinking water to those in greatest need. It works not just to save lives, but also to enhance them. Our New York distributor, Polaner Selections, will also donate proceeds for this project directly to Charity Water. Monde Eau Cabernet Sauvignon is 98% Cabernet Sauvignon and 2% Cabernet Franc, all sourced from Rivercrest Vineyard and Badger Mountain Estate Vineyard in Columbia Valley. This Cab offers bright layered aromatics of blueberry, raspberry, a touch of eucalyptus, black currant and spice on the nose. The wine explodes on the palate with flavors of black currant, black cherry, and earthy black licorice intertwined with a touch of tarragon and eucalyptus that is rounded out by a nice hint of spice. It has a medium finish that is balanced with nice tannins and acidity. Aged for 26 months in 100% 3-year-old French oak barrels. 600 cases were produced.
Enjoy Monde Eau Cabernet Sauvignon over the next 3-5 years with steak, BBQ ribs and spinach lasagna.
