Six Hats Rosé is a beautiful dry rosé of 100% Pinotage from Western Cape vineyards north of Cape Town. Pinotage is the signature red varietal of South Africa, created at Stellenbosch in 1925 by crossing Pinot Noir and Cinsault. Because Six Hats is Fair Trade Certified, your purchase supports the people whose hard work is so beautifully expressed in this bottle. Fair Trade promotes decent working conditions, local sustainability, and fair terms of trade for farmers and workers in the developing world. Six Hats Rosé is deep watermelon red in color with a fruit-forward nose of strawberries, cherries, floral and mineral notes. It is medium in body with crisp acidity, a rich mouthfeel and flavors of ripe berries. Well balanced to enjoy over the next 2-3 years, the wine is long and refreshing on the finish.
