Wine Spectator Best Buy, 89 points!
Gruet Brut Methode Champenoise is a great sparkling wine to enjoy whenever you're in the mood for Champagne but prefer to spend less than half the price per bottle. New Mexico has a winemaking tradition dating back to 1580. The same three grape varietals and fermentation process used in the Champagne region of France have been replicated at the Gruet Winery in New Mexico. The cooler climate relative to California produces a Pinot Noir of intense fruit.
Gruet Brut Methode Champenoise is dry, elegant and delicious. The Brut offers a crisp and full-bodied sparkling wine with rich complexity and fine mousse. The allure of a toasty finish from twenty-four months on tirage is a complement to the sophisticated apple and citrus flavors. Excellent to start off a party, toast a special moment, or enjoy with an entire meal. Cheers!
"Case discount price" reflects a 10% case discount (5% on Sparkling Wines) for any mixed-case purchase of 12 bottles or more shipped to a single address.
