Domaine Kirrenbourg Pinot Blanc shows off the beauty of the Pinot Blanc grape from Alsace. On the sunny hills of the village of Kayserberg, the Kirrenbourg estate works with passion to produce great wines of terroir. Martin Schaetzel began bottling his own wines in the 1930’s, and Domaine Kirrenbourg was created in 2019. The estate is Demeter-certified biodynamic since the 2018 vintage. Certified organic by Ecocert.
Domaine Kirrenbourg Pinot Blanc is bright yellow in color. The nose opens with a charming floral bouquet. The attack is fresh, the mid-palate reveals pleasant bitterness. A delicious Pinot Blanc with the aroma of Queen Claude plum where acidity and light bitterness mingle with the vegetal aromas of fresh basil and cut herbs. It is drinking beautifully now and will age gracefully for another 7-8 years. The wine’s luscious ripe fruit lingers long on the finish.
Enjoy Domaine Kirrenbourg Pinot Blanc with grilled shrimp, lobster, baked swordfish, roast chicken and rich vegetable dishes.
